What Hevy does better
- More devices. Android, Apple Watch, Wear OS, and the web. LOGR is on iPhone only and has no watch app yet.
- A much bigger community. Hevy says more than 17 million athletes use it, so more of the people you know may already be there.
- Guided programs. With Pro, Hevy Trainer builds a program and suggests the next weights and reps. LOGR does not.
- Video, languages, and Strava. A workout can carry a video, the app is in 16 languages, and each workout can go straight to Strava.
Where LOGR is different
- Nothing to pay for. No limit on routines or custom exercises, and all of your history.
- Teams. A team page, chat, and Team Calendar, free for every athlete and coach on it.
- A monthly race with friends. One leaderboard of the people you follow, new every month, plus streaks that count rest days, and pokes.
- Training together. Tag who you lifted with, and the session's photos run from one person to the next, with one like and one comment thread. Up to 10 photos a post.
Which to pick
Hevy, if you use Android or a watch, want guided programs, or your friends already use it. LOGR, if you lift with friends or a team on iPhone and want all of it free. Trying LOGR loses nothing you have logged: your Hevy workouts come with you as a CSV file.
