Terms of Service
Last updated: August 16, 2026
These terms are the agreement between you and LOGR ("we", "us") for use of the LOGR app and this website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use LOGR.
1. Who can use LOGR
You must be at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use LOGR with the involvement of a parent or guardian. You may not use LOGR if we have previously removed your account.
2. Your account
- Give accurate information when you sign up, and keep your email address current so you can recover your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for what happens under your account.
- Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access to it.
- One person per account. Do not share your account or transfer it to someone else.
3. Training safety, and what LOGR is not
LOGR is a logbook, not a coach, and not a medical service. Nothing in the app is medical advice. Personal records, streaks, leaderboards and badges are records of what you told the app you did, not a recommendation to lift a given weight or to train on a given day.
Strength training carries real risk of injury. You are responsible for your own training decisions. Consult a qualified professional before starting a new programme, especially if you have an injury or a medical condition, and stop if something hurts. Routines shared by other users are their training, not vetted advice, and following one is your own decision.
4. Your content
What you post stays yours. You keep ownership of your workouts, routines, captions, photos and messages.
To run the app we need permission to store and display that content, so you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce and display it, solely for the purpose of operating LOGR and showing your content to the audience you chose. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies retained as described in our Privacy Policy.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, including any photos of other people.
5. Rules of use
Do not use LOGR to:
- Harass, threaten, bully or impersonate anyone.
- Post hate speech, slurs, or content that sexualises minors.
- Post sexually explicit content, graphic violence, or content promoting self-harm or eating disorders.
- Post spam, scams, or unsolicited promotion.
- Break the law, or infringe someone else's copyright or other rights.
- Access other users' data, probe or interfere with our systems, or work around the app's security or rate limits.
- Scrape LOGR or use it to build a competing dataset.
- Upload malware, or use bots to create accounts or generate activity.
Messages are screened against a list of banned phrases, and any user can report a message for review.
6. Content you may encounter
LOGR carries content created by other people. Captions, comments, workout notes, bios, usernames, messages, and photos all come from users, not from us. We do not review any of it before it appears. Even with the filters and tools below, you may come across text, photos, or any video and other media we support in future that is explicit, offensive, inaccurate, or otherwise objectionable, and you use LOGR knowing that.
There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users on LOGR. Four things back that up, and all four are available to you from inside the app:
- Filtering. Messages are checked against a list of banned phrases and rejected before they send. That check runs on our servers, not only in the app, so a modified client cannot get around it.
- Reporting. Press and hold any message someone else sent to report it, and give a reason. We keep a snapshot of the surrounding conversation so the evidence survives even if the message is deleted afterwards.
- Blocking. You can block any account from its profile. That hides your content from them and theirs from you across posts, comments, profiles, and messages, and removes any follow in both directions.
- Contacting us. support@getlogr.com reaches a person.
We aim to review every report within 24 hours, and we remove content and eject users who post objectionable material. Our Community Guidelines set out what is not allowed in plain language.
Content in LOGR belongs to whoever posted it. We are not responsible for it, we do not endorse it, and any training claim, routine, or opinion you read there is that person's, not ours. See section 3 on why none of it is medical advice.
7. Moderation and ending your account
We may remove content or suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, or where we reasonably believe it is necessary to protect other users. Where it is practical and appropriate, we will tell you why.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings in the app. See the Privacy Policy for what deletion removes.
8. Availability
LOGR is provided as it is. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or error free, and we may change, suspend or discontinue any part of it. We try to keep your data safe, but you should not treat LOGR as the only copy of anything you cannot afford to lose.
9. Disclaimers and limits
To the fullest extent permitted by law, LOGR is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising out of your use of LOGR. This includes any injury arising from training you logged or read about in the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to LOGR is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty five US dollars.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Apple
LOGR is distributed through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms and has no responsibility for the app or its content. Any claim relating to the app is between you and us, not Apple, and Apple has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change is significant we will update the date at the top of this page and give notice in the app. Continuing to use LOGR after a change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Pennsylvania, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court.
